Who can submit abstracts?

Submissions are accepted from any provider who has a professional interest in gynecologic oncology who currently trains, performs research, practices, or intends to practice in a Heartland state (see membership portion of the website for a complete list of Heartland states). While most submissions come from gynecologic oncology providers or affiliated trainees (including students), we invite submissions from anyone who shares the mission of caring for these patients. This includes partners in pathology, radiology, oncofertility, medical oncology, nursing, and our colleagues in the basic sciences providing care to gynecologic oncology patients. 

Projects may span the continuum of gynecologic oncology from prevention and oncogenesis to survivorship and palliative care. 

Previously presented material is eligible for consideration, but priority will be given to novel research.  Priority will also be given to trainees and young investigators, in keeping with HAGO’s mission to foster collegiality and career development among trainees and those recently out of training.

By submitting your abstract to HAGO you are agreeing that it may be used in the following ways:

1. Shared at the HAGO Meeting. 
2. Shared on the HAGO Website. 
3. Shared in future HAGO resource templates.

Members with questions regarding the eligibility of their project are encouraged to contact HAGO prior to submission. 
• HAGO's priority of abstract acceptance will be on original work(s).
• Encore presentations are not eligible for awards.
