HAGO is now accepting nominations for the 2027 Board of Directors.
Serving on the Board is a meaningful way to become more involved with HAGO, represent the membership, and help support the organization’s mission, vision, and strategic direction.

Open Positions
Member-at-Large - 2 open positions
Members-at-Large are full, voting members of the HAGO Board of Directors and serve a two-year term starting 1/1/2027.Responsibilities include:
- Attending Board meetings and voting
- Representing and serving as a voice for HAGO membership
- Helping preserve organizational continuity and institutional knowledge in Board functions and decisions
Member-in-Training - 1 open position
The Member-in-Training representative is a non-voting member of the HAGO Board of Directors and serves a two-year term starting 1/1/2027.
Responsibilities include:
- Attending Board meetings
- Representing and serving as a voice for HAGO membership
This position is open to any Member-in-Training and is a great opportunity for a resident or fellow to become more involved with HAGO, gain leadership experience, and bring the trainee perspective to Board discussions.

VOLUNTEER OPENINGS

We’re looking for volunteers to serve on the HAGO Committees! Explore the open positions below and let us know you’re interested by clicking the link and completing the Volunteer Interest Form.
Membership Committee
The Membership Committee verifies membership applicants’ eligibility for membership as detailed in the bylaws and approves membership applications. The Committee may also plan and help implement membership growth strategies and campaigns. Most of the work of the committee is carried out via email correspondence.
Program Committee
The Program Committee is responsible for planning the scientific and social programs for the HAGO Annual Meeting. The committee meets monthly during most of the year, moving to semi-monthly meetings in the 2-3 months prior to the Annual Meeting. Meetings are around one hour.
Social Media Committee
The Social Media Committee is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy for HAGO. The goal of this committee is to connect and engage HAGO members as well as the broader gynecologic oncology community. The committee will create original content, share relevant updates, and repost related materials from other trusted channels to promote awareness, education, and collaboration. The committee will also work closely with Status Plus to ensure that content is published in a timely and coordinated manner.
